How to store and serve your bouqcakes

Your beautiful cupcake bouquet has arrived – now what?
Whether you’re saving it for a celebration or can’t wait to enjoy a bite, here’s everything you need to know about storing and serving your bouqcake to keep it looking and tasting its best.
🧁 How to Store Your Bouqcake
1. Keep it cool – but not cold
Bouqcakes are best stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. The buttercream flowers are delicate, so avoid placing them near radiators, windows, or in hot cars.
2. No need for the fridge
Unless the weather is unusually warm, you don’t need to refrigerate your cupcakes. The fridge can dry out the sponge and cause the buttercream to lose its texture. If you do need to chill them (e.g. during a heatwave), let them come back to room temperature before serving for the best flavour and texture.
3. Best enjoyed within 2–3 days
All of our cupcakes are baked fresh to order and are at their very best within 1–3 days of collection or delivery. If you plan to serve them later, store them in their original packaging or an airtight container.
🍴 How to Serve Your Bouqcake
1. Gently disassemble
To serve your bouqcake, simply lift each cupcake out from the bouquet by gently pulling at the base. They’re individually cased and should come out easily without disturbing the overall design.
2. Pair with a cuppa (or bubbles!)
Bouqcakes are perfect with a pot of tea, a glass of prosecco, or even as part of an afternoon tea spread. The flavours — from homemade lemon curd to rich berry compote — pair beautifully with a range of drinks and desserts.
3. Don’t forget the photo!
Before diving in, snap a quick picture. These floral cupcakes are as much a feast for the eyes as they are for the tastebuds!
